Long Harbour River Lodge is a 4 bedroom lodge located inside the largest Woodland Caribou zone in Newfoundland – Middle Ridge (Area 64) and borders the Bay Du Nord Wilderness Reserve. This area has the highest density of Woodland Caribou in the World with the best genetics for large trophy antlers.
With 100% success for more than a decade and putting Woodland Caribou in the record books every year, Deep Country Lodge is a premier provider of Trophy Woodland Caribou Hunts. Perched on the banks of Long Harbour River, this modern facility has all the amenities – from cell service, hot showers, a full time cook and 1 x 1 guides to make your hunting experience one to remember.
Deep Country Lodge - Northwest Lookout Lodge
The Northwest Lookout Lodge is our home base for all hunting operations with Deep Country Lodge. Built in 2006, it is located on the edge of Terra Nova National Park and borders the Bay de Norde Wilderness Reserve. This lodge has all the amenities of home and offers comfortable lodging for our hunters and guests. Boasting 5 bedrooms, 3 full washrooms with hot showers, full kitchen, lounge area, satellite TV, cell service, propane BBQs and a 320 square foot deck overlooking the beautiful Northwest lookout. This hunting lodge is truly any hunters dream accommodations.
